Robert Reynolds founded NYRA's Berkeley chapter early in 2004. In March of that year, Robert led a historically significant voting age protest that attracted a lot of media attention. Since then, Berkeley has been one of NYRA's most active chapters, with several key members engaged in near constant campaigning to lower the voting age. Robert was elected to the board in August of 2004, and the board appointed him Vice President. As a board member, Robert had a good record of attendance and raised a lot of money. Robert served as president from August 2005 until August 2006. Robert often appears in the media, particularly in Bay Area newspapers. Robert is a sophomore at UC-Santa Cruz.
