Rich Jahn, (October 26, 1982- ) is National Youth Rights Association (NYRA)'s member service director.

Was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in Dubuque, Iowa. He began school at Iowa State University in the fall 2001, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Jahn studied many areas of electrical engineering but ultimately had the strongest interest in electric power systems. After his internship at Omaha Public Power District, he decided to pursue a career in the electric power industry.

Also at Iowa State University, Rich was active with the campus Libertarian Party his freshman and sophomore year. Later, Rich decided to focus more on his studies and avoid extra-cirricular activies.

Rich Jahn was appointed Secretary of the National Youth Rights Association in 2001. The following summer, Rich was elected to the board. Rich stepped down as Secretary in August of 2003, but remained a director. Rich has a good attendance record for board meetings and is known for contributing a great deal to the youth rights movement in a quiet, unassuming way.

Jahn has done a lot as NYRA's member service director. He single handedly built NYRA's database, which is a vital tool for many NYRA staff members. As chairman of the bylaws committee, Rich has been the driving force behind many of NYRA's bylaw changes, and he is often the person who figures out the details at bylaw committee meetings. Rich's deep understanding of parliamentary procedure, youth rights, and computers has contributed profoundly to NYRA's success over the past few years. Jahn served an additional term as the secretary of NYRA from 2006-2007.
