Matt Herman

Matt Herman is the co-founder of ASFAR and a former Board Member of NYRA.

About

Herman served as NYRA's first vice president. While leaving behind less writing than his contemporaries, such as Avi Hein and Matt Walcoff, Herman was a key factor in the early youth rights movement. He was integral in developing NYRA's web presence early on, and NYRA's forums were hosted on his website until around 2004. In 2000 he created and implemented a new design for the NYRA website that is still in use today. He also the first to imagine a Youth Rights Network, back in 2000, that eventually in 2005 came to fruition. Matt briefly served as NYRA's President, between Avi Hein and Alex Koroknay-Palicz. Herman is no longer involved with the youth rights movement.
