Johnathan McClure

Johnathan McClure was elected to NYRA's Board of Directors in August 2003. At is first meeting, the 03-04 board appointed McClure Vice President. As Vice President McClure was a constant presence on the board, and along with Alex Koroknay-Palicz, he did substantial work on NYRA's application for charitable tax status (Section 501(c)(3)).

In 2004, he ran for a seat in the North Dakota State House on the Democratic ticket. He lost the election in the heavily Republican 40th District to his Republican opponent. This was by far his main contribution to the youth rights movement so far.
