Brad White

Brad White (born September 12, 1983), was on the Board of Directors of the National Youth Rights Association, and served as the organization's communications director.

Biography

White was born in Highland Park, Illinois, and grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois. White was a strong students rights activist in high school, attending Buffalo Grove High School, in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. White was outspoken in his high school paper, which he was an editor of, and he also founded an American Civil Liberties Union chapter during his junior year. The ACLU chapter spearheaded the fight against the school board attempting to stop them from installing security cameras in the high school. While the fight was lost, their fight did draw a lot of recognition from the area, including a frontpage story in the Chicago Daily Herald.

White joined NYRA in 2002 to handle media relations. In August of 2002, White was elected to the Board of Directors, which he served on until 2004. He has appeared in multiple media sources on behalf on NYRA, including Fox News and the Chicago Daily Herald.

White graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science. He currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
